– EAS Label or Hard Tag
- An EAS tag is attached to each item to be protected
– Deactivation or Removal at Point of Sale
- EAS Hard Tag is removed
- Label deactivated
- The customer’s purchase will not set off an alarm
– Detection
- Detection equipment (Pedestals or Antennae) at the exit will detect a Hard Tag or live EAS label
