Acousto-Magnetic Technology (AM Technology)

AM systems create a detection zone by transmitting at 58kHz. This transmitted signal is not continuous but sent in bursts, so when a tag or label enters the detection zone it is energized by the transmit pulse when the transmit signal ends the label or tag responds by sending its own 58kHz signal.
